Refusal of Unauthorized Email Collection

We refuse the unauthorized collection of the email addresses posted on this website by email-harvesting programs or any other technical means. Please note that violations may be subject to criminal punishment under Korea’s Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.

Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (Republic of Korea)

Under this Act, the following are prohibited:

  • Using a program or other technical device to automatically collect email addresses from a website that states its refusal of such collection.
  • Selling or distributing email addresses collected in that manner.
  • Knowingly using such email addresses to send messages.

Penalties

Violating the rules above is punishable by a fine of up to KRW 10 million, which applies to:

  • Collecting email addresses from a website that states its refusal of such collection.
  • Selling or distributing those addresses, or using them to send messages.
